Teo Chee Khiang retired as Dy Auditor General, Auditor-General’s Office (AGO), in 2010 and is now Professor (Practice) in the Department of Accounting, National University of Singapore.
He has research interest in public sector financial governance, internal audits, and government audits, including performance auditing. He also lectures at the Civil Service College to senior civil servants from Singapore and overseas, and has spoken at conferences and seminars, both local and overseas.
He was a member of the CPF Board and chaired its Audit Committee He had also consulted with the World Bank in public sector financial management after retiring from AGO. He also chaired the ASEAN Audit Committee in 1998.
While in AGO, he had wide and in depth experience in public sector audit including public sector financial governance and management, and public sector frauds and corruption.
He graduated from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) and is a Fellow, Chartered Accountant, Singapore; Fellow, CPA Australia; Fellow, ACCA; and a Member of IIA Governing Board, Singapore.
