Martiono Hadianto was appointed as President Director PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara since March 2009. He joined Newmont as President Director PT Newmont Pacific Nusantara in June 2007.

Previous to joining PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, Martiono  was holding several positions within government institutions and state-owned enterprises among others are Director of Finance PT Garuda Indonesia, Deputy of Economy & Finance of BPIS (Management Agency for Strategic Industries), Director General for State-Owned Enterprise, Assistant to Vice President for Industrial Harmonization of Vice President Indonesia's Office, Director General of Customs & Duty, President Director of PT Pertamina, and Chairman of Board Commissioners PT Pertamina.

Mr. Hadianto received his Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) and MBA from University Oregon.
