Huguette Labelle, Former Chair, Transparency International

Huguette Labelle was the Chair of the Board of Transparency International till October 17, 2014.  She is also a member of the following bodies: Board of Directors of the United Nations Global Compact; External Advisors  to the Implementation of the World Bank Governance and Anti-Corruption Strategy; Asian Development Bank Advisory Group on Climate Change and Sustainable Development; the Executive Board of the Africa Capacity Building Foundation, the Board of the Global Centre for Pluralism, member of the Advisory Council of the Order of Ontario and Vice Chair of the Senior Advisory Board of the International Anti-Corruption Academy.

In these capacities she provides advisory services to national and international institutions.

Huguette has also served for 19 years as Deputy Minister and Senior management positions in various Canadian Government departments, among them as Secretary of State, Transport Canada, in the Public Service Commission and in the Canadian International Development Agency.
