ASEAN CSR Network and Oxfam representatives were in Jakarta on 21st January 2016 to present their joint communique to the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, H.E. Dr. AKP Mochtan.

The joint communique was developed after the ASEAN Responsible Business Forum which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 27 – 29 October 2015.

The Communique is the organisers’ joint effort to reflect the recommendations, aspirations and commitments discussed at the Forum. Its intention is to provide a constructive and forward-looking statement of support to ASEAN, its relevant agencies and bodies, and other stakeholders engaged in shaping and implementing the ASEAN post-2015 vision and strategy.
