MASTER CLASS ON CSR & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT by Dr. Tima Bansal

This Master Class will help you understand the meaning of sustainability and how it is enabled in organisations.  By the end of this day-long highly interactive session, participants will understand:
1. What is sustainability?
2. Why organisations should engage in sustainability?
3. How it can be embedded in your organisation?


Dr. Tima Bansal will use case vignettes from the extractive sector and the pharma sector to highlight key debates pertaining to the role of business in society and human rights.  She will also provide participants with a tool kit of 60 practices about how sustainability can be embedded in their organisations.

Dr. Tima Bansal is the Canada Research Chair in Business Sustainability at the Ivey Business School at Werstern University (Ontario).  she directs Ivey's Research Centre for Building Sustainable Value, and founded and directs the Network for Business Sustainability (nbs.net). The organisation aim to strengthen the ties between research and practice.
