“New Opportunities, New Challenges”
As ASEAN is gearing up for an integrated economic, political-security and socio-cultural community by the end of 2015, there is growing optimism regarding the opportunities that a single ASEAN market and production base presents. However, if ASEAN is to achieve truly inclusive, equitable and sustainable growth, many challenges need to be faced head-on.
At the Main Forum and its side events on 4 and 6 February 2015, key issues such as Business & Human Rights, Business Integrity & Anti-Corruption, Food Security & Sustainable Agriculture, Governance & Shared Value in the Extractives Sector will be addressed. Through consultation workshops, working group meetings and training sessions, participants will be able to take an active part in helping translate international norms and standards to concrete actions that fit the ASEAN context.
A Master Class on Corporate Social Responsibility is likewise offered on 03 February 2015 to corporate representatives who wish to learn more about sustainability strategies, CSR implementation, and reporting & communicating CSR.
