Join us at the ASEAN Responsible Business Forum on 27-28 August 2018 in Singapore to discover how companies, big and small, can collectively advance and mainstream responsible and inclusive business across the three pillars of ASEAN to build a united, inclusive, people-centred, resilient and sustainable ASEAN Community. Co-organised by the ASEAN CSR Network and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the Forum will feature expert panel discussions on key challenges faced by ASEAN, including human rights due diligence in the supply chains; business integrity and anti-corruption; financial inclusion; micro, small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) development; climate change and environmental sustainability. The findings of a study on Corporate Disclosure on Business Integrity in ASEAN will also be presented at the Forum. The study assesses the public disclosure practices on business integrity and anti-corruption programmes by the 50 largest companies in five ASEAN countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, and compares their 2017 performance to their 2015 performance. The Forum will also see the launch of the ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN) in Singapore. A flagship of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the programme aims to facilitate the scaling up micro and small enterprises in the ASEAN region through mentorship by a pool of entrepreneurs, business practitioners and academics. In addition, a Workshop on Business and Human Rights will be open for registration on first-come first-served basis. On the sidelines of the Forum, members of the Regional Working Group on Business Integrity will have a Coordination Meeting with partners on 28 August 2018 afternoon, followed by a Regional Expert Consultation on the Value Respect Project on 29 August 2018. These 2 side events are by invitation only. Don't miss the opportunity to meet and interact with experts on responsible and inclusive business in their respective fields!
