Thai stock exchange publishes guidance documents on CSR
(30 Jul 2012) -- The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) released last month three guidance documents for listed companies on Corporate Social Responsibility. Produced by the SET's Corporate Social Responsibility Institute, the documents released include: "Approach to Social Responsibility Implementation for Corporations”; “Sustainability Reporting Guidelines””; and a Thai translation of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3.1 Guidelines. Copies of the documents can be accessed through the SET.
SET's focus on CSR started as early as 2006 when a CSR Working Group was established. The SET also has a CSR Club, established in 2009, that helps promote CSR among listed companies by sharing information, knowledge and best practices.
