Corruption Perception Index 2015: How did ASEAN member-states fare?
Transparency International recently released its Corruption Perception Index 2015 (CPI 2015). All ASEAN member states with the exception of Brunei are ranked according to the perceived level of public sector corruption.
Singapore, despite its score moving one point up to 85 in 2015 from 84 points in 2014, nevertheless dropped its ranking from 7th to 8th place in 2015. Malaysia lost two points but dropped four places from 50th to 54th place in the 2015 ranking, while the Philippines dropped three points but dropped 10 places in its ranking from 85th to 95th position.

The CPI 2015 covers a total of 168 countries and territories. A country or territory's score indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0 (highligh corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
