ARAIBA has initiated the sustainable procurement pledge to mobilise support for responsible and inclusive business conduct. 

The Accelerate Sustainable Procurement in the ASEAN Pledge (ASAP) is an initiative under the ASEAN Responsible and Inclusive Business Alliance (ARAIBA) to promote responsible and inclusive business in the 10 Member States of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).

This Pledge recognises that Procurement Professionals can influence our supply chain and our organisations to achieve an inclusive, sustainable and equitable community through sustainable procurement practices for the benefit of Society and ourselves.

ASAP is applicable to Procurement and Supply Chain Professionals who operate in ASEAN region. As part of ARAIBA to promote good corporate governance, labour rights, poverty eradication, community development, environmental stewardship, anti-corruption and human rights in ASEAN region.
