ASEAN CSR Fellowship 2018: Module 1 (Malaysia)
ASEAN CSR Fellowship 2018 kicks off in Malaysia, as the fellows begin their fellowship journey on 5-9 March 2019.
The fellows will gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where they will be introduced to the basics of corporate social responsibility and responsible business practices. Particular attention will be brought to two focus areas – business and human rights, as well as business integrity and anti-corruption.
Module 1 will also deep dive into two key socio-economic issues faced in Malaysia, namely women empowerment and gender equality, as well as financial inclusion.
Among the notable speakers for this module are:
- H.E. SENATOR DATUK PAUL LOW SENG KUAN, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia in charge of Governance, Integrity and Human Rights
- H.E. VICTORIA TREADELL, CMG MVO, British High Commissioner to Malaysia
- TAN SRI DATO' DR MOHD MUNIR ABDUL MAJID, Chairman, ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), CIMB ASEAN Research Institute (CARI), and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad
- MR. EDMUND BON, Representative of Malaysia to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR)
- MS CYNTHIA GABRIEL, Executive Director, Center to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4 Center)
