On 16 June 2017, in Jakarta, ACN met with a few Indonesian NGO's to discuss ways of working together in order to make a bigger impact in the country on CSR and Responsible Business. ACN CEO Thomas Thomas hoped that making progress in Indonesia would greatly help with progress in the region and provide lessons for other ASEAN countries to learn from. 

The meeting ended with ACN and the representatives agreeing to support Indonesian organisations to promote CSR in a coordinated manner, an agreement to promote a common understanding of what CSR is, and to organize a follow up meeting in August to have plans to realize the objects of the meeting.
