Findings from business integrity research launched at the Conference on Corporate Governance and Responsibility: Theory Meets Practice
Singapore, 21 July 2016 – A joint research by ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) and National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School’s Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) revealed that on average, only 54 per cent of the top listed companies in five ASEAN countries have a publicly disclosed commitment to anti-corruption. The study looked at the top 50 listed companies in each of the five countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand – and assessed their level of public disclosure related to their anti-corruption efforts.

Singapore, 20 July 2016 – A study by National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School’s Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) and ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) revealed that companies see the relevance in sustainability but majority struggle to identify its key impact, risks and opportunities.
Companies discuss corruption in Myanmar and how to combat it
On 16 March, the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business (MCRB) and ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) hosted a workshop in Yangon for senior managers of Myanmar companies on anti-corruption practices. The event, titled “Making the Change in Myanmar: A Practical Workshop on How Businesses can Combat Corruption,” was attended by more than 60 companies from a variety of background and size, as well as other organisations interested in addressing corruption in Myanmar.
