Obaidur Rahman

EYE and CSR Adviser, Save the Children

 

Mr. Obaidur Rahman has been working in the field of Youth Empowerment and Corporate Social Responsibility for over 18 years in Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Mongolia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, Uganda, Egypt and Cambodia. His current position is a Regional Advisor in Asia of Save the Children for Youth Empowerment and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Prior to his current role Obaidur worked for ILO and UNDP. His experience includes tools and methods development to promote Child Rights Business Principles (CRBP) in Garments and Textile, Electronic, Hospitality and Retailing Sector. He obtained his Masters in Development Studies and in International Relations.
