ACN has worked with the Union of Myanmar Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) to develop the 5-day programme (3-7 July 2017), which will cover CSR from the perspective of an emerging economy. Myanmar is currently undergoing an economic and political transition, and Fellows will gain insight into issues surrounding responsible investment, energy and extractive industries, the impact of Burmese ‘Repatriates’ on the business community and responsible tourism. They will also be doing site visits to a Coca-Cola factory and a garment factory to learn about best practices. This will be the second to last stop for the Fellowship, which will end in July 2017 in Manila. |
