ASEAN CSR Vision 2020 Small Grants Fund open for applications now
The ASEAN CSR Vision 2020 Small Grants Fund is now open for application till 15th August 2016. This is the third round of funding and successful recipients will receive project funding ranging from SGD3,000 to SGD10,000. Proposals should be relevant to the ASEAN CSR Vision 2020's objectives and desired outcomes in the areas of capacity building, advocacy and awareness raising, as well as research and publication. UN experts urge all governments to protect environmental rights defenders
Three UN human rights experts call on every government to protect environmental and land rights defenders. Speaking on World Environment Day on 5th June 2016, the three experts said protecting environmental rights defenders is crucial to protect the environment and the human rights that depend on it. Environmental human rights defenders put themselves at risk to protect the rights of others but are often targeted as if they were enemies of the state.Click here to read more.
ACN and Oxfam cooperate to push for inclusive and sustainable growth in the ASEAN Economic Community
With funding support from the Rockefeller Foundations, ASEAN CSR Network and Oxfam, through its Gender-transformative and Responsible Agribusiness Investment in South East Asia (GRAISEA) programme, have partnered to promote responsible and inclusive business practices among SMEs in ASEAN. UK FCO ‘Prosperity Fund’ continues support to ACN’s Business Integrity programme
The United Kingdom Foreign Commonwealth Office has renewed its support for ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) by supporting its ‘Strengthening Private Sector Commitment, Cooperation & Action against Corruption in ASEAN” project.
