We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Learning Course on Human Rights and Environment/Climate Change. The first part of the course will be held between 17-21 July 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand.

1. Topic: Human Rights,  Gender Equality and  the Environment

2. Objective: Strengthen capacity amongst and between key actors/target audience to address related challenges in Southeast Asia from their different roles and perspectives

3. Target audience: Corporations, National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs), Judges in Southeast Asia

4. Components*:

(i)      Face-to-face workshop for all participants (17-21 July 2017, Bangkok)

(ii)    Online component (from 22 July 2017)

(iii)   Meeting for Corporations (September 2017, Jakarta)

(iv)  Concluding online discussion for all participants (October 2017)

*Participants are expected to participate actively in all components of the course

*All teaching and reading materials will be in English

5. Costs: All costs for course participation, including travel and literature, will be covered by RWI

7. Selection: RWI, ASEAN CSR Network, and International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) will select a total of thirty (30) participants out of nominations/applications from corporations, NHRIs, and judges received by the set deadline, pursuing gender balance and a wide institutional and geographical representation in the course group.
