Thailand's Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption joins Regional Working Group on Business Integrity in ASEAN

Bangkok, Thailand, 11 November - The Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption of Thailand joined the Regional Working Group on Business Integrity in ASEAN as its seventh member earlier today following the official signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU).  The MOU was signed between the Coalition and the Regional Working Group on Business Integrity in ASEAN.  Representing the Coalition was the President and CEO of the Thai Institute of Directors, Dr. Bandid Nijathaworn.  Mr. Thomas Thomas, CEO of the ASEAN CSR Network, represented the Regional Working Group.

Signatories to the MOU, who as members of the Regional Working Group, are expected to cooperate with one another in information sharing, best practices and technical resources to promote business integrity and combat corruption.

ASEAN CSR Network's 'Forum for Responsible Business' highlights the importance of CSR in building a sustainable and inclusive ASEAN Community

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 14 October - The ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) held its Forum for Responsible Business’ at the Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 14 October 2014. With more than 300 participants from the business and NGO communities in attendance, keynote speaker Lord (David) Puttnam, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Burma, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, shared his thoughts on the Forum’s theme – “Boosting Sustainability and Competitiveness in ASEAN through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)”.

MOU signed to combat corruption and promote integrity in ASEAN business community

Manila, Philippines, 18 September – The ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) along with 5 of its private-sector group partners from around the region signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will pave the way towards a formalized regional cooperation to create a common strategy against corruption in the ASEAN business community.

Integrity Summit forges stronger unity for integrity for all

Manila, Phillippines, 19 September - The fourth Integrity Summit, hosted by the Integrity Initiative (Philippines) was held in Makati City, Manila.  The Integrity Initiative, a private sector-led campaign that aims to promote common ethical standards in society, brought together close to 400 participants from the business sector, government agencies, civil society, youth organisations and the Church to advance solutions to corruption and promote integrity practices.
